Rain

We have been begging for rain for a long time, and at last it has arrived! Not the thunderstorms and deluges we were promised, just a steady, non stop rain. Just what the garden needed and I won’t have to water tonight!
I always feel sad when it rains like this on a Saturday, and I think of all the weddings and the village events that people have been working so hard for, such a shame.
