Un-bee-lievable

This bee is very strange.
First, it is absolutely massive- the biggest bee I’ve ever seen.
Second, it was walking (not flying) around the garden, then it started to climb up the netting around the blueberry bush!
I don’t know why it wasn’t flying as I think it could because it flew from the step onto the floor.
Very unusual bee-haviour!
