Dun Sgurabhal

Located at the northern end of Barra, this ancient structure makes a fantastic viewpoint, looking south towards yet another white beach and the airport. It's an Iron Age fort built about 2000 years ago. H was a bit reluctant to join me and my Dad in the climb, on what was a bit of a drizzly day, but even she had to agree it was worthwhile.

Also saw a plane land on the beach, in extras, and had a tasty lunch at Am Bothan Mòr cafe and garden centre nearby.
