It had rained overnight but I was lucky that the rain held off for my morning walk (it came back again later).

My route took me along the edge of a local playing field, and I noticed a few dozen little patches of a greyish misty appearance, each a few centimetres across, on the grass. When I looked closely I realised that they were patches of spiders' webs, highlighted by lots of tiny water droplets. Only having my phone with me as a camera I took the best macro shot I could of them for today's blip.
