Oh Bailey

Found these feathers outside the back door first thing this morning, others were scattered along the path and up on to garden. I have just collected them and saw under the Choisya bush the body of the pigeon - I really do not fancy getting that out even on shovel. It is hard to believe a small cat would tackle and kill a full grown pigeon. I have not seen the culprit yet, perhaps nursing her wounds.
