Growing up fast

The lambs are definitely growing up and gaining confidence by the day. Back in April and May, the fields were full of tiny, unsteady newborns who would bolt to their mothers at the first unfamiliar sound or movement. Now, they stand their ground. This one, in particular, caught my eye while I was actually trying to photograph a roe deer. Instead of fleeing, it watched me closely, as if it was wondering what I was up to.
