Surprise bunch

Had a lovely surprise delivery today from our neighbour who is in hospital. Callum has been taking G in to see him quite a few times and he’s sent me a rather magnificent bunch of flowers to say thank you.

Brightened up an otherwise dreadful weather day. It’s been raining pretty much non stop.

I’ve started my new book which is showing promise - Gone Forever by Scott Blade. A gripping thriller apparently, although I’m not yet actually gripped but I am enjoying it. There are 21 in the series, so it could indeed have potential :-)

A later than usual video call with Nicoiseannie which means it’s now time to go and sort out dinner. We caught up on all sorts of things and the hour just flew past.

Before I go though, the thumbnail of the blip is a new-to-me flower called Celosia cristata (according to google lens) - never come across this before, fascinating shape and form.
