Strawberry picking

at Ruti's Strawberry farm. 

It was really hot. We picked up 2 buckets and it was starting to kill my legs and back. I have developed - yet again - varicose to both legs and I need to get them operated this fall. 

After that I took a gig to the place that I swore off yesterday. BUT, I know that it was me and P yesterday, so I knew we had done everything and the whole ward was up to speed. So it was quite a nice evening shift. We even had time to take the residents out to enjoy summer. That does not happen often. 

Also it would have been P alone for a long shift. And she will be alone tomorrow evening, so 2 shifts alone back to back with the ward temperature at 27-28°C, is just too much. I had not enjoyed my day knowing she's there sweating by herself.
