Encouraging Day
After a long time with no significant rain, it was good to see today was wet! Not sure how much our garden actually received as I've been in East Anglia all day, but things do seem to be on the damp side.
I had travelled to a day organised by the RPS on Photobooks. There were only three of us on the course and we had two very experienced RPS advisors so had lots of 'attention'. The specific interest was Photobooks in relation to an RPS Distinction - we are all aiming for the Fellowship!
I particularly wanted to know know whether my idea was ok and whether my photography up to the standard. I'll spare details but 'yes' to both - of course there is more work to do as only perfection is acceptable - but, although there is a long journey ahead, I felt very encouraged; both advisors also offered further advice.....
So... On with the work.
If anyone is half thinking about a Distinction - just DO it. The process is arduous at times but you will meet lovely and helpful people along the way plus learn a huge amount about photography.
Don't think you're not good enough because you probably are!
The water drop pattern was on the rain cover over the patio furniture - possibly not to any RPS standard!!!!!
