While the sun shines

It rained a lot here in Normandy last night and the air is very humid. When the sun came out just before noon we decided to drive to the coast and find a nice place to visit. First we stopped in Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer and took a walk along the beach and through the village center. Then we wanted to drive a bit further and visit Lion-sur-mer. Just a few moments after we got into the car it started to rain - and it rained a lot! We drove through some of the streets of Lion-sur-mer, but didn't stop because of the downpour. We thought, maybe we should just head back to Lantheuil and try again tomorrow?
Since we were getting thirsty for coffee we drove to Thaon and sat in a lovely café for a while, or until it had stopped raining and we were brave enough to try the outdoors again :) 
Courseulles-sur-Mer was our last stop of the day. We took a walk through the town, I walked barefoot on the beach and into the sea, and later on we had dinner before driving back to Lantheuil. 
Now I can feel a bit of a drizzle while I sit outside in the garden and write this...better get back inside and go to bed!
