A day at the beach

Arrived yesterday evening in the city Horten driving on nice narrow country roads avoiding highways. Had booked a nice hotel. Got a nice talk and nightcap after dinner, with a couple who came on their great motor bikes. The husband drove his bike with one arm and a lamb shoulder, injuries after a collision with an elk a few years ago. Impressive to learn where they had been in Europe on their bikes after the accident. Woke up to sunshine and very hot weather. Decided to stay at the beach by the hotel a while to cool us down. Stayed there all day, sat, swam, read, relaxed. Arrived Oslo late afternoon.
