Balancing Act

Penni and I were enjoying a glass of champagne on the upstairs deck this evening when this Grey Heron landed in the tree opposite us. It was interesting to watch it balancing on the thin branch.
It was a beautiful day today, so we went to lunch at a garden restaurant before people arrived to view our house. They were in video contact the whole time with the prospective buyer in Johannesburg who had asked them to view the house for him. It was a bit irritating.
Penni and I packed up some items that she is taking from the house , including some silverware, crockery and art equipment of hubby's.
She leaves early tomorrow which is sad, but she has been a tremendous help.
