Les Anderlys

We’ve had a quieter day today as Paris was quite tiring. The forecast was for light rain on and off all day, but that was Ok as we knew it would be cooler and we had exciting things like getting fuel and tidying the caravan up to do. We did however go up to the castle car park so we could photograph the view of the village before it was forecast to rain.

The rain never happened, and the forecast changed to be dry. We went for a lovely walk along the river late afternoon, where we saw this river cruise ship depart. ( I looked it up £1,999 per person for a 7 night cruise and visiting all the places we have done). If you look on the photo taken this morning you can see it berthed to the right of the picture.

Got back and started cooking tea outside - and the heavens opened. 20 minutes of an absolute downpour - and now blue sky again and drying up nicely. So much for the weather app!

Main blip is the view across the river on our walk this evening. The river was very still and then the river cruise ship and a freight container barge sailed by so I was right place right time.
