Jars!

You will recall that I was complaining recently that I had too few small jars for the gooseberry jelly that I was making; I have no longer a need to complain.

By good fortune I saw a Facebook entry by someone with a large box of jars (labels removed, lids intact) on offer for people to select any they wished. I messaged to ask if these were still available, resulting in a drive across town to collect them.

I chose these, a perfect size, plus one or two others, from an enormous box of mainly small jars. We had a lovely conversation about hoarding saving things that may be useful, until storage capacity is overwhelmed. We agreed that this is not a failing but positive avoidance of waste.
