As we set off home we had notification of a power cut, which could last til 11.30pm...

Happily it only seemed to be for a couple of hours, so we had lights and a working fridge when we arrived. When there's one cut though, in our experience a second often follows... So best to be prepared... all rather silly ;)

Another episode in my "eat your way round North Tyneside" saga today. We met the cousins, and had a lovely relaxed lunch at The Beehive. Great food and service, and we chatted on for several hours - so another great catch-up ;)
