Victory

For months we have had a small leak somewhere on the water line to the garden (separate from our house). We have looked and searched for it with no luck. But yesterday, Tom struck paydirt and found a pool of water near the garden. I dug it up, found the leak, then found a flexible coupling at a south Salem Ace Hardware, and fixed it. Flexible was a “flexible” term, as it wasn’t very. But at last I succeeded in making the connection, and, voila! No leak! This was a major win on the farm.

When I reported our success to Tom, she said, “Maybe you’re a plumber and don’t know it.”

I said, “I am no plumber. I just got lucky today.”
