The paper version

Have been doing without a paper version of the Fringe program for several years; came across a pile at Margiotta while fetching the newspaper. It's a marvel of compression of information; much easier to scan through than the web site. Has more than 3300 shows, 265 venues, 3 weeks in August. 
Like anything this complex, there's a knack to finding the things you want to see .. I used to make a very busy three or four days of it as a regular visitor. Living here makes for a more relaxed experience. 

The rain came on after I got in mid morning; very wet until mid evening when we walked around the streets in the merely damp.
