Almost there
Another day as yesterday. In other words, mostly home, a few chores in between pool time and sitting around. Amazon delivered the folding computer table I ordered a few days ago. It's bigger than expected, but ok for the roof terrace when I want to work there in a quiet evening breeze. Abo, ("building project manager") and his youngest son (13 yrs old - used as a 'gofer') and the painter came in the afternoon and got more finishing tasks completed. Almost there, but not celebrating yet. Would have been finished but I recently got a second - or is it third ? - wave of wants, and now, still to go are all things I only decided upon in the last few days: a mosquito net folding screen door to the roof terrace, to make a box cover for the outside water mains pipe and meter, two deep full width shelves in the storage depo, and to dismantle the barbecue chimney from the roof top terrace as I'll never use it and it blocks my view. With Robin arriving on Monday, this last job is on hold as it will be noisy and messy and I've had enough of that the last few weeks, but hopefully the other three will get done in the coming week.
Around 8 o'clock Rufus told me he'd like to walk along the sea front to look at the boats and then communicate with people (get loads of attention and fuss as normal) while I had a beer at Paşa and read my book. How could I refuse? Back home by 9.30 we then sat on the roof terrace, along with MamaCatz, mostly just because we could.
