Tidy-up time

Now that the book is printed it's time to clear up the desktop, cables, books, notes, magazines et al.  I'm not a tidy worker - though I do try to be, but eventually things just get the better of me!  This morning it's cable tidying, there are so many variations between 3 Macs and a dozen external hard drives - USB A, B & C, Ethernet, Thunderbolt 1 & 2; fortunately the scusi's and Firewires have gone to the dustbin.  There are a few of those short cables you get with portable HD's under the desks where they've been flung, often in desperation of a failing external unit.  After lunch it's refile the 4, 2 feet high piles of transport books and magazines.  Groan...
