Wax Crayon and a Two Year Old
A few days ago the delightful Freya, who is 3 in 8 days, used a wax crayon to provide me with an wanted job. She successfully crayoned(?) blue lines around the pattern cut into one of our bare wood cupboard doors.
I used a blunt knife (a letter opener) to carefully scrape off as much as I could, followed by fine grained sandpaper. The result is my extra, which I am quite pleased with.
The lessons learned again are to keep watching her constantly, and to allow wax crayons only in more tightly controlled circumstances!
