The Columbia River.  Through a very filthy airplane window.  Some heat haze there too.  Oregon, Sauvie Island on the left side of the river.  Washington, Frenchman's Bar Regional Park (and Caterpillar Island) on the right side.

Traffic to PDX was horrible, we should've taken our usual route but mistakenly thought the freeway would be fine.  However, it meant we spent the least amount of time at the airport and straight onto the plane.  Landed early, again.  No wait for a Lyft at SFO.  Possibly the quickest trip back yet, if we don't count the Portland traffic bit.
