Policing Whitby Harbour

We got out early hoping we could take advantage of brighter weather. I suggested we parked by the harbour to get an alternative view of Whitby. Fortunately we were ahead of the crowds and enjoyed a walk up to and onto the pier. 

Having a manual wheelchair makes you plan routes more carefully. Having orienteered through this area meant I knew this would provide an interesting walk. Richard really enjoyed the walk and we paused for a coffee on the way back to the car. 

The boats in the main police the waters and I liked the way the Lifeboat crew added colour as they came back from an exercise. The big blue boat police the fishing waters. The extra is some of the sights along our walk.  

We returned home to cloud and rain!
