a little pick me up

I am staying home from church today as I recover from Covid. First, I am grateful that the virus did not keep me down while my daughters and I were taking time to be together and spread hubby's ashes. Second, I am grateful that my calendar is not very full this week, i.e. I will not miss much by staying home and resting. But I admit, I was starting to feel sorry for myself, rather vulnerable and weak, as this is my fourth major illness in the past six months. But God...the best two words in the Bible. But God reminded me that He is my strength  and He is with me. And then He underscored His words by sending me a Roufus hummer to my feeder.
