European Bee Eaters as Promised … Weekend Version

When I discovered these on Tuesday, I couldn’t get the angle I wanted with the nesting holes in the background (extras). The quarry where the Bee Eaters are, was in working, and therefore in “no entry,” mode. Today, although the quarry was totally locked up, I could walk around the outside of the perimeter fence to see the birds. The main shows the acrobatic structure of these birds, especially the tail feathers.
