Skating

A rather wet day today but it did start fine. I went for a meet up with some of my cousins this morning at the cafe in the range. When we was getting ready to leave the rain was coming down rather heavy so a dash across the carpark was done.
Back home and it was decided to have a spot of lunch before heading out to find a blip .  we did plan on heading up to the cathedral area as it was the 1940's weekend but sadly the rain won.. Thankfully the rain did stop for a while to allow a walk around the arboretum where I spotted quite a few pond skaters whizzing around on the water and managed a couple of shots.
Back home to watch an entertaining  super league match which saw Castleford beat Warrington . 
The sun is now out as I type this up and it is the best part of the day but it will soon be time for some food for tea and then a chilled evening watching some catchup TV viewing
