Hoverfly in the rain.

After yesterday’s wine club barbecue I enjoyed a lie in this morning. MrC kindly brought up my usual morning cuppa.

Then after breakfast we went to Sainsburys in Halifax for our Click and Collect order.
Included was a large pack of 24 cans of Diet Cola.
I told the gentleman that I hadn’t ordered them. He made a note and then said we could keep them at no charge. We don’t drink Coca- Cola but  I’m sure we can find someone who does.

We had a nice long video call with our friends in France. Their big news was that they have decided to sell up. An American couple are interested in buying the house. Then maybe they are going to return to the U.K. but first will travel round in their mobile home for a few months. Fingers crossed the sale goes through quickly and then they can look forward to the next chapter in their lives.

As you can see in my photo it has rained today.
No thunderstorms though, and still quite warm.
The garden is loving it.
