DAY OUT

It was such a relief to have a break from sorting, packing and endless DIY!!!

I had booked this talk a few weeks ago and my lovely friend B agreed to join me. Kate Williams was a great speaker, funny stories and well delivered.
A few facts…*When Mary Queen of Scot’s was executed her dog was found under her dress clinging to her leg :(
* when Queen Elizabeth was asked about her corgis mating with the dachshunds. She asked formed the reporter we have a special brick!!!!
* poor Marie Antoinette had to wait ages for her underwear to be handed to the correct maid before being handed back up the line of hierarchy to the top maid so she could be dressed!!!
Afterwards we went for a browse around Borough Market and a paella lunch. Really delicious.
In the evening I met my girlfriends for a glass of wine.
