raining

The sweet peas really are growing well this year. This is my current favourite - "Miss Willmott" - a very fragrant heritage variety. I took several photos and quite liked this one, out of focus and looking like a watercolour painting, I thought.

Most of today was warm and dry, so I did a lot of gardening and enjoyed being outside. seeing plenty of butterflies and bees around. The rain arrived around 3pm and was Proper Rain. I did get out for a walk but returned rather damp.

D has just gone out to pick some wet raspberries and lettuce :-)
