Happy Place.

We all have venues that we count as happy places. Mine include my bike, Whitley Bay and Tynemouth, The Pyrenees, the Shibden Valley, Widdop and The Long Causeway...to name a few. 

Another is Liverpool, particularly Anfield. There's just something magical about it regardless of the day you happen to visit. I wanted to go and see the new murals for Diogo Jota, and I also wanted a Sunday Livy ride...so I combined the two. A very wet but great fun ride! 

The new mural above a pub is astoundingly detailed and the memorial wall, now also the pavement, is beautifully done. The carpet of flowers and so on remain around Anfield, and the flag of Liverpool Football Club remains at half mast.
