Glint

With clouds like this, it had to be a pylon blip.  A pity the vines surrounding it have been pulled up. The ones in the foreground have been planted very recently.

A lazy Sunday. I baked bread in the morning, and then went for a swim (air 26C, water 27C). Then it was community lunch, with 80 other people. We found ourselves on the anglophone table again, which was slightly annoying, but then someone came along and said they'd saved the seats we were sitting in. This gave us an excuse to leave without being rude, and some French neighbours squeezed up to fit us onto their table. We don't see them often, so we had a lively sociable lunch which continued with a session on the bench in front of our house. Half a bottle of home-made limoncello was consumed (not by me). Replete, we spent the afternoon slobbing out, but roused ourselves to go for a short walk (blip). No food needed this evening!

For those who can't get enough of Matisse, there's an extra. He enjoyed watching flying leaves while protected from the outside world by the fly screen.
