A long day

S and M left at around 8.25 this morning to return to the USA and I got on with my packing for flying visit to Brighton for 2 nights staying with my closest school friend from Zimbabwean days then a school reunion at Kew Gardens on Tuesday for both of us before I travel home.
I am currently on the train to Brighton ( it’s 8.50 pm) when I should have been in Brighton 2 hours ago.
We had got to Newcastle when we heard that we were delayed due to a fatality on the line further south. Very sad.
