Torrential rain again

The day started not too bad and my husband managed to clean out the gutters. They were unable to cope with the rain water yesterday.  Well, the gutters did cope with the water today,  when we had torrential rain once again. 
Our youngest son had come over to help with the hedge cutting,  but we had to give up due to the rain. Anyway,  he got his dinner anyway!
