Wow

I don’t know if I ever ‘Blipped’ about helping out a Falmouth University student back inn2022/23. If I did you may recall that in 2023 at an RBL meeting a guest asked if students at Falmouth University could contact any ex RN to advise on the technical aspects of a warships bridge for a short animated film that the University was to make.
After a prolonged period of e-mail ‘ping pong’ with Aiesha Penwarden, the co-director I heard no more.

Imagine then my surprise to find out today that the film, “Middle Watch” went on to win a BAFTA and I had been listed in the credits.

Amazing.

Aside from that an interesting Tuesday, no more paint scraping, I’m now painting it back on - on my own.
