A clear day
Strange quietness in the house this morning with the girls gone. A sad quietness I must say, really missing their cheerful faces.
Anyway, took Ziggy for a good walk and loved to see how clear the Cotswold hills are looking, although they look a bit far away but I zoomed out (rather than zooming in) so I could get Ziggy in the picture.
Hetty continues to be ill and now Bella has it too. I hope they get over it very soon, it's been 3 days for Hetty.
Our friends, Ian and Kim, came around this evening. Ian is the one I gave my left kidney to (and best apparently, they take the biggest and healthiest kidney to give the transplant a better chance of success, my right kidney is fine). He told me about the transplant games, who'd have thought it eh! It's at the end of this month but I've already committed to a county show with the poppy appeal stand. He told me to put it in my calendar for next year as it is for the 'Live Donor' people as well as those that received a kidney. It should be fun, not too strenuous but you'll find out in a years time how I did!
P.S. I've changed my profile avatar. It's the Live Donor pin that the NHS gives to all those that donate an organ while they are still living.
