Another Hot Day
Once again it was around 27°C and not much breeze. Our life followed the new pattern of early morning activity, followed by spending the hotter part of the day either indoors or in the shade, and then some more activity as it cools down a bit in the evening.
I spent the morning picking elderflowers from our small tree, and then honey berries. As the day got too warm to be out in the sun I did some preparations on the camper van. We start our TaiChi course tomorrow and will be living in the van, near our training room. Once that was done, some more bottle washing took place. That job is now done and all the assorted bottles are clean and sorted and upstairs in the barn.
As the evening came around we drove to the beach at Smitingen. We definitely needed to cool down and some summers the sea there never warms up enough to swim so we decided to take the chance. At 8 o'clock in the evening there were still a lot of people on the beach. The sun was still shining and the sea was about 20°C - gorgeous!
I've blipped Smitingen around 60 times and this is the first blip showing swimming here! It's much more common for my Smitingen blip to show snow and ice!
On the way home we did a bit of shopping and then Jan started the process of turning the elderflowers I'd picked in the morning into elderflower cordial.
The final event of the day was creating this blip - goodnight!
