Fog

This morning started foggy.

It brightened up at lunchtime and I should have gone out then as by the time I did venture out, a haar had blown in off the sea.

This is an old ash tree on a farm track just outside town.  I took several shots from different positions but preferred this one with the 'S' shaped lane leading in to the tree.

One of the others is added as an extra.

I went on to the 'kissing trees' hoping for a similar view there.  I was unlucky because the haar had lifted above the trees and the atmospheric effect was lost,  After I got home, heavy rain started.
