Sunday ...
... funday.
We didn't get out for a walk until later in the afternoon. Jacobsburg State Park was our destination ... not only for a walk but to look for the hummingbird clearwing moths. Unfortunately just as we were arriving it started pouring down rain.
The good news is we did see our first clearwing moth. But the bad news is I failed to get any decent shots of them. Luckily for me as I was standing there searching for the clearwings this lovely Gray Catbird landed on the fence railing almost right next to me. And I was fortunate enough for him/her to sit there long enough for me to get several shots before they flew off with their tasty morsel.
On the way home we had to drive through a torrential downpour where we could hardly see through the windshield. Funny enough as we arrived home it was perfectly dry here.
