Buddliea
Today's job was weeding. I also had a few jobs to do in the house but it was weeding for as long as the weather held out. Heavy rain was due just before lunch, and there was a bit of drizzle which made be bring the washing in, but as soon as it was in, the sun came out. It meant I got the back garden done, most of the driveway and half of the gravel but out of the front done. I then stopped as I needed to change the bedding, put a big food order in and put away the washing.
The buddleia that I rescued from last year's extreme weeding of the driveway has grown at a ridiculous rate this year. It's currently flowering and we've never had so many butterflies in the garden, they really do love it. There were cabbage white, peacocks and red admirals all hanging out -the red admiral being the one that wasn't spooked by the camera. Back to work after the bank holiday tomorrow..
