We are home now after a long journey back from London as our train from Kings Cross to Leeds ground to a halt near Retford due to a Grand Central train in front of us having broken down and blocked the line! Whilst on board we were given large LNER chocolate coins to celebrate the Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture. The train was actually a Kings Cross to Bradford Foster Square service, but didn’t stop in Shipley where we wanted to get off, so we had to change in Leeds anyway!
