A perfect day for a water baby

What a wonderful day we have had. The weather was glorious so, this morning, at low tide, we swam across the estuary on to the sand bank. Laika happily sat on the body board and was pushed over. We then spent a happy hour walking to the outer edges of the sand bank and watching Laika jumping in and out of the huge puddles left behind by the tide.
Came back and had delicious lunch sitting on the terrace.
Later, Roddy and I went out and had a wonderful swim off the back of the boat. It was just heavenly.

Not content with my two swims, as the tide was going out, we decided to go to the secret beach and get into the water and float, letting the tide take us down the estuary to the Green where we climbed out.
Home to a delicious supper of marinated leg of lamb. What more you could ask for?
