Southern Hawker

A horrible morning weather wise with 35mm of rain in 1.5 hours, about 70% of the normal rainfall for the whole of July. We missed any thunderstorms, but I could see them all around on my Lightning app. Being a bungalow, there's lots of roof and when you get torrential rain it overflows the guttering. I also had to go out to clear muck  that came down off the roof and made it's way to the end of the downpipe, blocking the rain getting past the grid into the soakaway. I was only out for 5 mins, but got absolutely soaked. Then the rain cleared and the sun came out all afternoon. I went to Holt Country Park and got a few photos, but they weren't great, so I settled on a close up of what I think is a Southern Hawker dragonfly. Then I did some weeding out the front.
