Waterproofs not required

Got to Helmsley quite early to ensure we got a space in the camper parking area, and no other vehicle there.
Picked up a couple of items for lunch and set off with waterproofs in backpack as rain forecast. It was warm and sunny all day, great walk and sat out reading when we got back to site.
Ended up joining English Heritage as such a great offer on this month.
May need more trips away to visit all the places we have spotted in the book.
Coffee shop at the priory was so good and dog friendly that we didn’t eat the lunch we had carried with us.
