Lotus time!

The oppressive humidity finally broke and the next 3 days should be pleasant.  So today I took my mom to the National Aquatic Gardens in DC to look at the lotus flowers and lilies which are in bloom.  The gardens cover 700 acres, with different species of lotuses -- from bright pink to pale white -- so lots to look at.

Tomorrow, we are finally going to go play golf! It's looking to be a good week :)
