Sweet Dreams

My little patio rose Sweet Dreams is still doing well. 
This evening, a treat to watch and listen to the First Night of the Proms, coming live from the Royal Albert Hall. Music included Mendelssohn's Overture "The Hebrides" ('Fingal's Cave'),  Sibelius's Violin Concerto  played by Lisa Batiashvili,  and Vaughan WiIliams' Sancta civitas, plus a new piece by Errolyn Wallen called "The Elements". All highly enjoyable.
The  BBC Symphony Orchestra was conducted by Sakari Oramo.
