Appledore

Off in the car for a little trip to nearby places.
First stop was Bidecome - Coffee in a Costa. Bit of a tired town. The drizzle didn’t help.
Then to Westward Ho! famous for being the only place in the UK with an exclamation mark.
The rain was torrential!
Then to Appledore, a pretty little town on the coast. Sat in a pub and played SkyJo then wandered in the town. Nice lunch in a cafe, more wandering before heading back to Ilfracombe via Tesco to grab something for dinner.
Played several rounds of Rummikub in the evening.
Hope the rain goes away tomorrow.
