Swallowing the Amazon...

Well, the Nene... Another fine few hours with niece/nephew. In the local millstream, even mum came out to it as a little girl! A great mix of gravel shallows and spooky, deep pools, long flowing weeds and fishes. We saw an otter in the river last week, briefly, but enough to make us hold our noise for a minute or two. Special.
Picnic went down very well....
