Autumn fruits already!

I’d noticed these blackberries were ripening when I walked down the lane yesterday.  I always think of them as ripening in August/September time.  Photo taken a little further down the lane than my SLOW image the day before.  I walked about the same time and although I carried my stick, which is mostly about balance, I didn’t use it and was able to walk quite quickly for me.

Meeting at the Hospice in the morning - I do like visiting there.  It has that aura of peace and tranquility and of people caring about the environment as well as people. Then a stop off at the Coop on the way home to buy a few things.

P.s. I haven’t heard my Chiffchaff for two days now.  Maybe he doesn’t sing when it’s raining.  However there was a very vocal Robin as I walked back into the village.
