The rabbit green

A much drier day after the mist cleared off first thing. Out in the afternoon to walk along Royal Terrace and count rabbits (nine at one time) at the former bowling green. Arthur's seat in the distance; if you look closely at the left hand edge there's a line of white lumps, which are likely bags of stone lifted in for path maintenance.

Rain came on as we were walking along Regent Terrace; by the time we'd got to Leith Street it was pouring, so we ducked into John Lewis and looked at saucepans. Rain didn't last long; it came on again with thunder with much more volume in the early evening.
