3894. Ready to face the day!

My husband went off to the gym this morning, he was a bit worried about leaving me but I’m fine. I had a shower before he left, just to keep him happy so he knew I was ok before he went out.
I’m going to walk down to the supermarket to meet him as I’m managing 10-15 minute walks now. The weather was horrible yesterday and we almost got trapped by flood water at the GP practice! The road was fine when we parked but 30 minutes later the car park was flooded and both ends of the access road were flooded! We just about managed to get through the flood water and had to take a major detour to get home, my husband was worried about the car because it’s a hybrid and they specifically warn you against driving through anything above the mud flap level! Thankfully it was fine and we got home ok! My youngest got sent home as their office had an indoor waterfall! Scary stuff….
