Blen

I popped out early for a walk around the local nature reserve, loads of butterflies on the thistles. A small tortoiseshell bagged and converted mono as the thistle flower was slightly blown out. (extra)
It rained quite heavily but then cleared in the evening, hoping for a great sunset and feeling like I was missing the landscape photography I headed west into the lakes.. Typically on the horizon there was a large cloud bank and so the sunset wasn't going to happen. I went for a Telephoto shot of Blencathra.  The fading soft light on the fells leading up to the saddleback caught my attention.
